research & training

Every case that comes to the clinic is documented since 1989. Thus there exists a huge volume of data that an interested Ayurvedic student can look into for therapeutic details. Special cases like cerebral palsy where the center has done some research has been documented in detail. Rigorous research and documentation are undertaken at the ashram to record Physicians' clinical findings and keep a close look on patients' progress. Clinical meetings and peer interaction is a regular feature.

A group of young like-minded people get together for serious clinical discussions on a frequent basis. Apart from medical students, other interested people from foreign countries are also getting trained (informally) in introductory courses of Ayurveda. 3 - 4 physicians both from India and abroad at a time are getting clinical training at the center for about 3 months. link "Diversity and freedom that is allowed in all Indian traditions is amazing. But it creates confusion and chaos among young physicians and even among people with limited knowledge. So we need to create a common language that every Ayurvedist can understand and use without deviating from our classical prescriptions. That is one of our efforts".
